Everyone wants to be outstanding in their performance as the organizations have clear expectations from the employees. To be smart at work and produce a good performance, the importance of creativity can't be ignored. But often it has been observed that the more the employees spend time on the job, the more they follow the same way to keep their jobs done. To break the same pattern, and to improve performance, there is always room for improvement in every job. From gradual to bigger level, the individuals can bring the change to make their tasks simpler so it can be done within the lesser time.

1. Use inspiration in your daily routine

To keep going with the daily routine, it is necessary to do the things that can energise you. On your work desk, you can use motivational quotes or any inspirational picture that can make your day. There can be various methods to go creative such as decorating your wall, tagging innovative pictures or snaps, or even better you can share laughter photos etc. with your colleagues. This will make the environment positive, healthy and fun-loving which can make the stressful work relaxed.

Besides this, you can also have the option to be creative with the online office portal by sharing creative posts or can use Pinterest or LinkedIn to follow your passion.

2. Block the distractions

Some various activities or habits restrict creative ideas and affect the growth of creativity or innovation directly or indirectly. It is essential to observe those habits that intrude on our flow of ideas as they are the main source that can cause distractions. You need to observe what are those habits, such as you can dig into social media because it can hinder your creativity level.  Your involvement in gossiping or wasting time chatting online can drag you. Further, performing the tasks in the usual format does not allow you to take a certain level of risk that can relax you and put you into your comfort zone. You need to be aware of strategies that can help you think innovative and broader. For instance, brainstorming with a colleague about new ideas, searching for sites that can help give the basic idea that can ultimately put forth better ideas or there can be the choice where you draw your thoughts without the fear of being noticed or failure. 3. Meditate

Being busy with meeting deadlines is a normal routine in a fast-paced environment. The stressful situations and burnout from the workload may ruin your mental health and lead to major health issues that can affect your professional and personal life. It is usually recommended to meditate as it can relax you and increase your efficiency, especially in the most productive hours of the day. Meditating even for a few minutes and relaxing your mind and body can improve your thinking and focusing capability and enhance your creativity in how to solve problems. Slowing down can speed up your mental activity and improves your assessment competency to see the bigger picture of how to solve the problem.

4. Accept Criticism

To grow professionally, there is a need to ask for others' viewpoints. Open and constructive feedback can help you draw positive attention to the perspective of which you are unaware. In this scenario, you can face criticism and unwanted opinions that you can't find in yourself. You can take the positive side and adopt the competencies. 5. Accept ambiguity and challenge the risk

Straightforward people get confused and anxious when finding different situations because they are unable to accept uncertainty. While on the other hand, creative people are more open to uncertainty and can make their way through unclear situations. To be creative at the workplace we can find scenarios where we have little or no knowledge or no prior experience. In this situation, creative people can allow themselves to understand the situation from a different angle and get ready to experiment.
